Condensed Milk Cake Benefit

One good thing to consider here in this recipe is it is relatively a healthier option than other types of sweet cakes. This is because we don’t use any kind of sugar as a sweetener for the cake, since the dessert is naturally sweet, given the use of the condensed milk, obviously.

Compared to using the usual sugar, the condensed milk provides healthier components such as protein and calcium. On top of that, the milk adds more of that distinct kind of sweetness and milkier texture.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Condensed Milk

We are going to use the canned sweetened condensed milk in this cake. For best results, avoid using the condensed creamer commonly known as condensada.

How to Make Condensed Milk Cake

Making the condensed milk cake is super easy. To start, think about the three main steps that we are going to do when doing this recipe, this is for you to visualize the procedure easier: First is to combine all of the initial ingredients first, second is to mind the process of beating the egg whites and combining it into the initial mixture, and the last step is to steam the cake to perfection. And that’s pretty much it.

When beating the egg whites, it is important that the mixture becomes frothy. You can manually do this by whisking with a fork or a whisk. You do not need to exhaust yourself by beating it super fast, but do take note that it will take quite some time before it becomes frothy. But another option is to use an electric mixer if you have it available with you, to make the task even easier.
