Milo Banana Cue Recipe

A chocolatey twist to Banana Cue using Milo powder.

  • Frying Pan

Ingredients

  • 16 pcs saba (plantain) bananas
  • 4 tbsp Milo powder
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter, or margarine
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, (optional)
  • ¾ cup fresh milk
  • 1 cup cooking oil, or as needed

Instructions

  • In a frying pan, pour-in and heat oil over low to medium heat.
  • Add-in the saba bananas. Fry until all sides are browned. Set aside.
  • In another frying pan, pour-in the fresh milk, sugar, butter, milo powder, and cocoa powder. Stir and cook until the glaze thickens and bubbles are forming.
  • Set to low heat and add-in the fried saba bananas. Mix until all the bananas are well-coated with glaze. Turn off heat.
  • Transfer to a serving plate or serving tray. Serve and enjoy!
