Filipino Stir Fry Hotdog Recipe

Equipment

  • Cooking Pan

Ingredients

  • 6 pcs red hotdogs, sliced
  • 1 pc medium-sized onion, cut into rings
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup banana ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  • In a cooking pan, pour-in and heat oil over medium to high heat.
  • Add-in the hotdogs. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until browned. Set aside.
  • In the same cooking pan, add-in the onions, and garlic. Saute until limp and aromatic.
  • Add-in the banana ketchup, vinegar, oyster sauce, sugar, and pour-in the water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Add back the hotdogs into the pan. Cook until the sauce is reduced and thickens.
  • Transfer to a serving plate or serving tray. Serve and enjoy!
