Filipino Hotdog Twister Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredients Needed

  • 6 pcs hotdogs, cut in half, skewered in a barbecue stick
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cups cooking oil, for frying

Materials Needed

  • 12 pcs barbecue sticks

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add-in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Then pour-in the water. Mix until a dough is formed and consistency is thick.
  • Form the dough into long log shapes (about 12 pieces).
  • Slice the hotdogs in a spiral along the stick, leaving a space in between. Then stuff the dough in the gaps of the hotdog. Repeat for the rest of the ingredients.
  • In a cooking pan, pour-in and heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add-in the hotdog twister sticks. Cook until golden brown.
  • Transfer to a serving plate or serving tray. Serve with a dip of your choice. Enjoy!
