Ingredients
1 ½cupsall-purpose flour
3/4 to 1cupbrown sugar, depends on your taste
½cupbutter or margarine, softened
1pcegg
2-3tbspinstant coffee
1tspbaking soda
¼tspsalt
½cupchopped nuts, cashew, peanuts, or walnuts
2cupschocolate chunks, or 1 cup chocolate chips, your choice if dark or milk chocolate
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter (or margarine), egg, and sugar.
If you have an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until creamy. You can also do this manually with a spoon.
Add-in the flour, baking soda, salt, and coffee and mix well.
Stir-in the nuts and chocolate.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drop the dough into a cookie sheet/ pan. You can use ¼ cup for big cookies or 2 tbsp for smaller cookies.
Preheat your oven to 175 C (350 F). Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for about 5 minutes before removing from the cookie sheet/ pan.
Transfer to a wire rack or clean plate and allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
